Physician Assistant, Team
Shelby is a board certified Physician Assistant with over 3 years of experience in Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She worked as a first assist for both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including breast augmentations and tummy tucks. As well as enhanced aesthetics, Shelby brings experience with a range of energy-based laser devices, and understands how to create synergistic treatment plans that deliver optimal results.
She graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then went on to achieve the Physician Assistant’s Masters of Medical Science from Arcadia University. Shelby then pursued a Residency with the prestigious Norwalk/Yale Surgical group where she was honored with the Linda Brandt Memorial Award for exemplary spirit of effort and dedication to patient care.
Her aesthetic eye and love for natural outcomes led Shelby to pursue her career in cosmetic injectables. She evaluates individual needs and creates customized treatment plans that highlight and augment a patient’s natural beauty. Shelby's passion is evident in the beautiful results she has achieved for her patients. Her vast knowledge of skincare products and treatments will be an asset to our practice, and we are excited to see the positive impact she will have in our patients' lives.
A native of New England, Shelby enjoys time outdoors when she is not at the office. Her favorite hobbies include relaxing at the beach and hiking with her husband, Josh. She enjoys being an aunt to her nephew Brooks and loves cheering on her NC State Wolfpack with her family and friends.
