A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off, though peeling does not always happen. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. It is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun.
MICROPEEL
The SkinCeuticals MicroPeel may be customized to accommodate all skin types. A MicroPeel is ideal for patients looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, laxity, dullness, and skin imperfections while avoiding the longer downtimes of other peel treatments. MicroPeel 30% or 20% solutions can be selected to accelerate cell renewal to reduce signs of photo damage and stimulate collagen synthesis. These peels are ideal for combination, oily, and acneic skin and is well tolerated with no down time. A series of 4 peels 4-6 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results.
PIGMENT BALANCING PEEL
The Pigment Balancing Peel is a customizable chemical peel targeting hyperpigmentation to dramatically improve the uneven appearance of photo damaged, mottled skin. This chemical peel procedure combines high-performance brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a powerful exfoliating acid solution to accelerate cell renewal and diminish diffuse and localized hyperpigmentation. For optimal results, 4-6 treatments every 4 weeks is recommended for maximum results. Consultation with a Medical Aesthetician is required prior to treatment.
ADVANCED CORRECTIVE PEEL
Formulated with an exclusive blend of clinical-grade acids and a maximized peel concentration of phenylethyl resorcinol, Advanced Corrective Peel dramatically diminishes the appearance of discoloration, while smoothing texture and refining the appearance of pores, to restore a brighter, more clarified skin tone. Patients can often expect 5 - 7 days peeling time. For optimal results, a series of treatments is recommended. Consultation with a Medical Aesthetician is required prior to treatment.
