Important Microneedling Pre-Treatment Instructions
Injectables (Botox, Dysport, Dermal Fillers, Sculptra), waxing, electrolysis, and laser treatments should not be done for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores please let your provider know, they may put you on an anti-viral medication prior to treatment.
After Care: Microneedling Post Treatment
Skin may be red, like a sunburn, and be irritated or sting. This will dissipate throughout the day.
Avoid all skincare products (other than recommended post treatment products) for 4 hours after treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for 7-14 days post treatment. SPF 30+ is necessary after the first 4 hours post treatment and should be applied regularly.
