Important Laser Hair Reduction Pre-Treatment Instructions

Injectables (Botox, Dysport, Dermal Fillers, Sculptra) should not be done for at least 2 weeks prior to laser treatments.

Please be sure to shave treatment area 24 - 48 hours before treatment. (No sooner than 24 hours before laser).

Avoid Sun for 4-6 Weeks Before Treatment: Tan skin cannot be treated as you risk burning the skin. Therefore, please take special care to avoid the sun and tanning beds on the area to be treated for 4-6 weeks before treatment. Wear broad-spectrum sun protection with SPF 30 or higher on any exposed area every day.

Facial Hair - If you have a history of cold sores please let your provider know, they may put you on an anti-viral medication prior to treatment.

After Care: Laser Hair Reduction Post Treatment

Skin may be hot and be red for up to 24 hours after treatment.

All of your skin care products should be non-irritating and nonclogging on the treatment area for the first week.

Avoid exposure to excessive heat (i.e. sun exposure, sauna, hot tub) for 2 hours post treatment.

Some may experience slight re-growth of some hair, though it is usually finer and lighter than what was originally removed

No sun exposure. Sunscreen MUST be used daily and consistently for up to 3 months post procedure.
