Important Botox/Dysport Pre-Treatment Instructions
To reduce the chance of bruising, avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications for 2 weeks prior to your treatment:
- Omega 3 / Fish oil
- Aspirin
- NSAID Pain relievers – Ibuprofen/Naproxen/Advil/Alleve/Motrin (Tylenol OK)
- Blood Thinners (get primary physician approval first)
- Ginkgo Biloba / Ginseng / St. John’s Wort

Do NOT consume alcoholic beverage at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising)
Schedule your Botox/Dysport appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event in which you may be attending, such as a wedding or a vacation. Results from the Botox/Dysport injections will take approximately 10-14 days to appear. Also bruising and swelling may be apparent in that time period.
If you have a history of cold sores please let your provider know, they may put you on an anti-viral medication prior to treatment.
Please arrive without makeup.

You are NOT a candidate if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
